Eating healthy does not have to be (and really shouldn’t be) boring. If you don’t enjoy what you’re eating you’re not going to keep eating it. That’s simple biology. Eating healthy should also not be filled with chemicals. Few things irritate me more than “healthy” recipes that are filled with artificial sweeteners, chemicals and powders that replace REAL ingredients. Whole foods have whole nutrients, which are what keep you full and keep you running. Empty calories are just that- empty. They’re not going to fill you up or keep you at peak performance for upcoming races or workouts.
I adapt a lot of recipes I find from Pinterest and other corners of internet-land to either be whole food or non-vegan. I will ALWAYS credit the original site where the original recipe came from. They came up with some great ideas. I just tweaked them 🙂
